What is the PKD Diet?

When it comes to kidney nutrition, the first goal is look at what is causing damage - with PKD, that's cyst growth.  A good PKD Diet is one that targets what makes cyst grow, because these pathways depend on nutrients! There are three areas to focus on for PKD Nutrition Therapy.  First is your foundational pillars of PKD,  Second is removing, or reducing, known PKD stressors that increase your kidneys workload and cause injury, and Third is to exploring additional opportunities known to positively impact PKD progression - they have Perks for PKD!
